My journey to Sanawell was deeply personal—a path shaped by survival, self-discovery, and healing. Growing up in Hawaii, I found peace in the ocean’s rhythm, a grounding force in what often felt like an unstable world. For much of my life, I lived in survival mode, unaware of how unresolved trauma and stress were shaping my body, mind, and sense of self. It wasn’t until later, during a season of chronic and debilitating physical pain, that I began to understand how deeply unprocessed emotions live in the body, disrupting our ability to feel whole and fully alive.
Thankfully, I discovered the transformative power of stillness through sound healing, restorative yoga, and somatic practices. These tools helped me reconnect with myself, release the tension held in my body, and begin a healing journey that felt both accessible and deeply personal. The more I learned, the more I saw how many people—my friends, my family, my colleagues—were also carrying the weight of stress and trauma. I felt called to offer tangible healing practices to counteract the impacts of stress and help people return to a sense of balance.
Sanawell was born out of that calling. This work isn’t just about relaxation—it’s about helping people move from depletion to deep restoration, where they can think clearly, feel present in their lives, and show up as their fullest, most aligned selves.
Because when we finally slow down enough to listen, our bodies already know the way back.
Hi, sweet soul — I’m Sadé, the founder of Sanawell.
For nearly a decade, I helped people travel the world. Now, I help them travel within.
I spent years in the high-stress world of aviation, always on, always moving, always adapting. Like so many, I believed pushing through was the only way forward. I didn’t realize that the chronic stress I carried wasn’t just exhaustion—it was taking a toll on my health, my clarity, and my ability to feel at home in myself. I see this everywhere now—in overworked professionals, caregivers who never pause, and high achievers who don’t realize their drive is fueled by dysregulation.
Our culture teaches us to push past exhaustion, to ignore the signs, to keep going at any cost. But the cost is real. Chronic stress doesn’t just affect how we feel—it impacts how we think, how we connect, and how our bodies function over time.
But you don’t have to be burned out to benefit from this work. Just as we care for our physical health before illness arises, we can also care for our nervous system before stress takes hold. Sound healing, somatic practices, and radical rest aren’t just remedies for depletion—they are pathways to clarity, creativity, and deep self-connection. Whether you’re seeking relief or simply looking to feel more aligned in your daily life, this work meets you exactly where you are.
